When Kate was in the NICU she was constantly swaddled in a flannel blanket and we thought it best to keep it up at home. Unfortunately we didn’t have any receiving blankets. I wrote it on a shopping list before smacking myself in the forehead upon realizing that they’re nothing more than a hemmed square. So, out came the rest of my Amy Butler flannel and twenty minutes later she had two more bundling blankets.

How much sweetness can you cram into one photo?

These measure about 37 inches square but next time I think I’d make them a little bigger to thwart her middle of the night Houdini moves a little more effectively.

She’s so sweet and I can’t imagine how much change you see in her everyday as I can see changes just from these blog posts! :)

That first picture should come with a cuteness warning!

Despite not really knowing either of you, is it weird that I think she looks just like her dad in the first photo?
Totally taking notes for my next baby shower gift!

So adorable! If your little houdini is anything like our little houdini was – you may consider the Miracle Blanket – http://www.miracleblanket.com. This was truly our lifesaver and we were so so sad when he finally outgrew it! But it sure beat a receiving blanket with a tensor bandage on the outside!

Hi there, I am Kate’s Daddy’s Mom. Your comment isn’t weird lol I see a lot of Chris’ baby pictures in Kate, but I see Amy in her too. I just spent 4 amazing days with them and she is the most gorgeous baby! Funny about the miracle blanket, we just bought them one, his brother, sister, Dad, myself and grandparent’s went in on several gifts. It’s such a great idea!

I came over from sewmamasew, because I had to see more of this adorable baby! Just wondering what that soft little bed is that she’s sleeping in. It looks so comfy.
