Hi there! My name is Amy.

This journal is about the things I make. I knit or sew most of my clothes and I make most of our food from scratch. I grew up eating my share of Cheeze Whiz and hot dogs but now I’m a vegetarian and I try not to purchase any processed foods. Sometimes I share recipes. If you try them let me know!

I’m married to the awesome Chris and we have a trouble-making puppy named Bowie. We were recently sent away from the big city and into to the quiet Canadian prairie. We’re (mal)adjusting to rural life. In the real world I’m a teacher but I fantazise about working at something creative in a tiny den with no one to bug me.
