I’ve been enjoying working on my Bird in Hand mittens so much that I’ve ignored the fact that they’re kind of tiny.

I can get them on but it involves a good deal of tugging and perhaps butter.

I don’t find colour-work projects to be very portable so I also started a take-to-work sock.

This is only two days worth of knitting at work (on break of course).  Unlike the mitts, it appears to be huge but I’ve slipped it on and it seems fine.  The yarn is Jawoll Aktion and I absolutely love it.  It’s not fancy schmancy hand-painted sock yarn but it’s bright and has a great feel.

Have a great weekend everyone!
